Show VIRGIN Thelma Wilcox Reporter The Soldiers Mother's Service' club sponsored a party Tuesday night in honor of Cpl. Russell Cornelius Corn-elius and R3c Grant Cornelius. An enjoyable time was had with a program and dancing followed by refreshments. Cpl. Cornelius left Wednesday morning for Nebraska Ne-braska to continue his training as a radio gunner. Seaman Cornelius Corn-elius will spend a month's leave here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cornelius, ISr. Word has been Teceived ' by two families that their sons have arrived ar-rived safely in England. They are Pfc. Vernon Wilcox son of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Wilcox and Pfc. Willys Matthews, son "6f Daniel Matthews. James Cornelius 'Sr., came home from the Iron county ' hospital, where he has "been for over a month. LeRoy Matthews returned last Friday from the hospital. Mrs. Minerva Farl returned last Saturday from Henderson, Nev., where she spent two weeks with her husband and son. |
