Show HOME ECONOMICS CLUB Our Home Economics Club, led by our very able officers, Norma Webb, Evlyn Snow, Bernice Harper, and Adelia Hall, entertained at a formal dance in the banquet room of the Standard Cafe on Saturday Satur-day night March, 14th. This dancing party was one of the foremost events on the social calendar. In planning lit, we tried to make everything every-thing very lovely and charming charm-ing and to employ the principles princi-ples we have learned in our meetings this winter. The theme of the dance was spring flowers. This was carried car-ried out in the programs and decoration. Light refreshments refresh-ments were served 'from a table in oe corner of the hall. About thirty boys were fortunate fortu-nate enough to receive invitations invita-tions from the club. All who attended expressed their enjoyment, enjoy-ment, many saying that it was one of the most delightful evenings they had ever spent. We feel that this sort of thing is not only enjoyable, but it is excellent training in social customs cus-toms and mannerisms for both boys and girls. The club is now beginning a new project, which you will hear more about in the near future. |
