Show CENTRAL A three-act comedy drama entitled en-titled "AaTon Slick from Punkin' Crick" was presented Saturday night by the M. I. A. The parts were taken well and the play was a big success. Jay Bracken spent the week end here from Zion's park. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gray and Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gray were visitors in Santa Clara on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Lytle and daughter, Phoebe and son, Andrew were in town Saturday on businesss. A number of people from here enjoyed the dances given Friday and Saturday nights at Veyo. Miss Ina McArthur attended teacher's institute in St. George on Friday. St. George visitors Tuesday and Wednesday were M. E. Bracken and sons, Vivian, Norvel and Austin, Aus-tin, Raymond Leavitt, Reid Bracken, Grant Keyes, Bayard Cannon and Edgar Carpenter. Hall Bracken is visiting here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bracken. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Emitt and five children have returned to their home at Great Falls, Montana Mon-tana after spending the past four months here with Bishop and Mrs. Daniel Leavitt. |
