Show MESQUITE, NEV. Miss Nellie Hughes of Mesquite and Wilmer Barnett of Spanish Fork are to be married in the St. George temple on April 3. A reception re-ception will be given at the town hall on Friday evening. A shower .was given in honor of Lucy Huntsman at the home of Dora Houston. Miss Huntsman Hunts-man and George Hardy of the Hardy ranch near Beaver Dam are to be married on April S. The arrangements and work have begun for a culinary water project for Mesquite and Bunkerville. Bun-kerville. The water which will be taken from two streams on the mountain eight miles south of Mesquite will be piped directly direct-ly to our homes. Mesquite farming lands are being be-ing protected from floods along the river. Thousands of trees, ash, elms, locust, and other varieties var-ieties have been set out along the bank this spring. The Virgin Valley poultry organization or-ganization have received 20,000 chicks for our valley. Two hundred hun-dred crates of eggs were shipped to Las Vegas in March.
