Show SUPT. P. P. PATRAW NOTIFIED THAT ZION CAMPS TO BE KEPI ZION NATIONAL PARK, Telegraphic advice has been received re-ceived by Park Superintendent P. P. Patraw from Washington that re-establishment of the two C. C. C. camps In Bryce Canyon National Park and Cedar Breaks National Monument for this summer sum-mer has been approved. C. C. C. Company 962 now occupying Bridge Mountain Camp NP-4, in Zion National Park, will be moved to Bryce Canyon during the latter lat-ter part of April, and Company 19 66 occupying Zion Park Camp NP-2 will be transferred to the Cedar Breaks camp about June 1. The construction program includes in-cludes continuation of fire trail construction, water and sewer development, de-velopment, roadside landscaping, erection of cabins and sanitary conveniences, and other improvements. improve-ments. The Cedar Breaks program pro-gram wil include completion of the road to the top of Brian Head, elevation 11,300 feet, construction con-struction of a trail within the breaks, development of water and sewer systems, and construction of an administration and museum building. The Brian Head road is on Dixie National Forest lands and is being constructed by the National Park iService In co-operation with the Forest Service. |
