Show Washington Caddie Neilson Lydia Stephens Reporters Mrs. Susana Prisbrey, assisted by her sisters, Mrs. Joseph Hannig, Mrs. George Hall and Mrs. Julia Prisbrey, was hostess to the Camp Washington D.U.P. at her home Friday afternoon. The entertainment entertain-ment was in honor of the eighty-fourth eighty-fourth birthday anniversary of their mother, Mrs. Phoebe Boggs Prince, one of the early pioneers. Granddaughters of Mrs. Prince gave the program, which consisted of a history of her life, songs and readings, after which refreshments were served. The ward relief society held their closing social in the Camp Washington park Tuesday afternoon. after-noon. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent by those present. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hall returned re-turned Thursday from Salt Lake where Mrs. Hall has been for medical attention. Phyllis Nisson 4eft for Provo and Salt Lake City Sunday where she will spend several week's vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson Jr. spent Saturday at Bryce Canyon where the yvisited with their sons, McKay and Paul. Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Vivent and family enjoyed an outing at Pine Valley Sunday. Mrs. Vilate Neilson was hostess to the I.O.N, club Thursday afternoon. Eight members were present. Extra guests included Mrs. Cuba Hall, Mrs. Esther Westover, and Mrs. Marie Williams. Wil-liams. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Iverson were business visitors at Kanab Monday. Louis Neilson and Alma Tanner left Friday evening for Los Angeles to spend their vacations. Edwin Sandberg of Las Vegas and his little daughter, Marlyn of St. George spent Thursday night and Friday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sandberg. Mrs. Willard Williams and baby of Kingman are spending a few weeks here with Mrs. Zina Prisbrey. Pris-brey. Miss Elaine Westover of Salt Lake City is visiting here with her grandmother, Mrs. Ellen Westover. Miss Ferrol Prisbrey has returned re-turned from OrderviUe where she has spent the past week with friends. Mrs. Berniece Larson and chil-' chil-' dren attended the reunion of the Hunt family in St. George Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Wimver iand daughter, Bonnie Ruth of Beaver spent the week end here with their mother. Mrs. Ellen Westover. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Watkins have gone to Price where Mr. Watkins has employment. |
