Show Temple News For Week Wednesday morning Walter H. Slack spoke on the subject of "Obedience". Rhoda Andrus sang a solo, "Prayer Perfect". LoRen Watson Snow read "The Good World", by Edgar A. Guest and Mary Orton of Parowan sang, 'Oh, My Father". Thursday Thomas W. Jones of Paragoonah related some of his experiences. Iantha Harper, Irene Cox and Blanche Baker sang, "Beautiful Zion For Me". Friday Richard F .Shumway, an ordinance worker from the Panguitch stake, bore his testimony testi-mony and cited cases wherein prophecies had been fulfilled. The Temple Ladies' Trio sang, "I Wander In the Stilly Night". There was a splendid representation represen-tation of the Moapa stake at their Temple excursion on Saturday. The time in the morning meeting was given over to testimony bearing bear-ing and quite a number responded. Wendell Bunker of Las Vegas sang, "Kind Words are Sweet Tones of the Heart", and with his father, Martin A. Bunker, sang, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives". As an aftermath of a fishing trip to Panguitch Lake by members mem-bers of the Temple workers, headed by Grover Shakespeare, a trout dinner was served Monday evening to about 100 Temple workers and their partners. The dinner was served as a compliment compli-ment to the night workers by the day workers. Games were played, and all joined in singing community com-munity songs. Tuesday morning, Mr. and Mrs. Jay W. McAllister of Santa Barbara, Calif., were speakers in the meeting Mr. McAllister sang two solos. |
