Show E. W. Simmon's Brother Dies In Hollywood Rondo Simmons, brother of E. W. Simmons, manager of Pickett Lumber company, died at his home in Hollywood Wednesday evening, June 14, of heart ailment. ail-ment. Mr. Simmons was employed as filing clerk in the costume department de-partment of M.G.M. studios the past 12 years, and had put in his regular shift Wednesday. Returning Return-ing to his home shortly after 5 p.m. he complained of fatigue, and died a short time later, while Mrs. Simmons was preparing the evening meal. Born in Salt Lake City, May 17, 1889, Rondo Simmons was a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Simmons, Sim-mons, one of a family of 17, and is the second of this large family to die within the last three years, a sister having preceded him in death. He married Telia Board-man Board-man of Provo, who with a daughter daugh-ter and two sons survive. These are, Mrs. Alta Truesdell, Dean and Rondo K. Simmons, all of Hollywood. His parents are living in Provo, but clue to illness were unable to attend the services held at the Pierce Brothers Mortuary chapel in Hollywood last Saturday, Satur-day, with burial in Forest Lawn cemetery. E. W. Simmons left St. eGorge Thursday morning to attend the amoral services of his brother, returning Sunday. Most of the living brothers and sisters were present. Mrs. George H. Taylor of Provo, one of the sisters, came home with Mrs. Simmons, visiting until Tuesday evening. |
