Many from here attended the funeral srvices of , Mrs. Martha Ann Barnum: at Mesguite last week. She was a resident of . this place for many years and reared her family here. Mr. and Mrs., Francis : Bunker and family of Salt Lake City passed through here and visited friends and relatives on their way home recently. They have spent the summer in Arizona. Silas Earl of Ely, Nevada is visiting here. . Kenneth Earl is building an addition to his store in which he will install an ice cream parlor and lunch stand. Nathan Abbott is building an addition to his home. Thomas Oottam is here doing the plastering plast-ering on these places. Eldon Leavitt has1 returned home from the L. D. S. hospital in ' Salt : Lake City much improved im-proved in health. The M. I. A. was reorganized last Sunday with Francis Leavitt, Leav-itt, Charles Leavitt and Ferlin Hunt as the Presidency and Rodney Rod-ney Waite as secretary. Mrs. Peterson, Hermese Abbott and Elinor Leavitt form the , Ladies M. I. A. Presidency with Hazel Hafen as secretary. Mrs. Thomas Leavitt has returned re-turned from Salt Lake City where she went for medical treatment. Joe Banner and family have moved to Las Vegas. |
