Show DIXIEITE REPORTS FINE TIME HERE AT HOMECOMING Picof that the people who vis- i ited Dixie during the Homecoming Homecom-ing celebration enjoyed themselves them-selves is seen in the following letter received by the News. It was written by V. L. Halliday of Salt Lake City. News Editor St. George, Utah. Dear Editor: I don't recall having had a more enjoyable trip and visit . than the one in St. George. The ! Committee, and I observed that j yi. ti were t.ne of the members, j deserve a lot of credit for the ! way the whole affair was car- lied off. The meetings were interesting; in-teresting; the parade was outstanding, out-standing, really it was as good as any I have seen in Salt Lake; the fruit festival, the pageant, in fart everything was just perfect nnri went off smoothly. The Committee, Com-mittee, should of course, feel relieved that it's all over but they should feel satisfied that the whole thing was such a success. suc-cess. The wonderful hospitality of the St. George people fits in very nicely with the Committee's plans. I would appreciate v.'ty much receiving a copy of the issue J printed after the ,-.n I received i or. Friday the 4th. Yours very truly, Y. L. Haliiday. |
