Show GUNLOCK j Several of our townspeople attended at-tended Union meeting at . St. George on Sunday. Most of the Gunlock students who are attending Dixie college spent the week-end at home. Anthony Belmont, Paul Walton and Milton Holt spent the weekend week-end in Los Angeles on business. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Holt and family and Mrs. Mary E. Leavitt spent Sunday at New Castle visiting visit-ing relatives. Miss Cammilla Holt spent Mother's Day with her parents at Enterprise. The Veyo Baseball team played Gunlock CCC camp a game of baseball on Sunday. The score was 30 to 0 in .favor of Gunlock. Mrs. Andrew Lytle of St. George is spending a few days home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Bowler. The Gunlock Sunday school sponsored a aance .p'rruay nigni. A large crowd attended from the surrounding towns. Thois Martineau returned recently re-cently from Idaho where he has been for the past year. Oak Hafen of Bunkerville, Nevada Nev-ada spent the week-end here visiting friend's. Vern Leavitt and Lee McAllister McAllis-ter returned from Nevada where they have been employed sheering sheer-ing sheep. A group of CCC boys have been transferred to Pine Valley for a few weeks to finish up the work that was started there last suim-mer. |
