SHORT CREEK. ARIZ. School closed last week with a program by the lower grades Thursday night and graduation exercises Friday morning at ten o'clock. A dance was held Friday Fri-day night. The eighth grade graduates grad-uates were: Orval Johnson, Spencer Spen-cer Johnson, Lahae Lauritzen nnl Susie Baiiow. Naomi Calling and Esther Johnson completed their two years high school work. Charles F. Hansen, our school teacher lias moved back to St. George where his family are. Mr. and Mrs. Frad Jessop are home again after spending three or four weeks at Millville, Utah with Mr. Jessop 's parents. Mr. W. 15. Johnson and family expect to move to the saw mill this week for the summer. About eighteen people from I here attended the funeral erv-j erv-j ices of Mr? Polly Judd at Kana.li 'on Wednesday. M'. Judd Is the sister of LeRoy Johnson, W. E. Johnson and Lizzie Colvin. John T. Spencer attended a special meeting Sunday held at Rockville.
