Show BREAKFAST HONORS OFFICERS OF B.P.W. The newly, elected officers of the Business and Professional Women's club were the guests of honor at a breakfast at the Standard Stan-dard Cafe on Sunday. Annie Price, outgoing president, acted as toastmaster and announced the program which consisted of the following numbers: A saxa-phone saxa-phone solo by Stanley Schmutz, a piano solo by Miss Mary Sullivan, Sulli-van, a toast to the outgoing officers offi-cers by Mrs. Beth Schmutz to which Mrs. Price and LcrRen Wat-.son Wat-.son responded, and a toast to the new officers by Miss Tillie WSnsor j to which Mrs. Bertha McGregor I newly elected president, responded. respon-ded. Plans for the completion of the Safety Program which the club is sponsoring were discussed. Miss LaVera McArthur, chairman of the Safety Drive announced a public mettmg which is to be held in the Tabernacle on Sunday, May 17, at which time Clarence Smith of the office of the Salt Lake county sheriff will discuss the subject, "Safety on Our Highways." High-ways." Miss McArthur urged the members to be present and to help advertise the meeting so that a representative group might be in attendance. |
