Show FARM RECORD SCHOOLS SCHEDULED FOR NEVADA A series of schools to assist Nevada Ne-vada ranchers in keeping farm accounts ac-counts will be held in many parts of the state early in the winter, according to Professor V. E. Scott of the University of Nevada Agricultural Agri-cultural extension service. Beginning sometime in December, Decem-ber, the meetings will be concluded conclud-ed before the first of the year, so that farmers may utilize the new methods with the start of 1935. Schools are planned for Douglas, Doug-las, Churchill, Lyon, Washoe, White Pine, Elko, and Lincoln Counties, Scott says. Introduction of the farmers to the new farm account book of the federal agricultural adjustment adjust-ment administration and instruction instruc-tion in its use is the major purpose pur-pose of the schools, according to the extension man. Devised to assist farmers in the keeping of records in connection with the government's adjustment control programs, the .book has been expanded until it now forms a basis for the firmer in his efforts ef-forts to cope with management problems. All told, it is expected that 1,-200 1,-200 copies of the books will ge used by Nevada farmers, and this number will be distributed to the farmers at the schools and by other methods. Follow-up schools will be held twice during 19 35, Scott says, one being scheduled at the end of each semi-annual period. At these meetings, the farmers will go over their books, bringing all accounts up-to-date. I |
