Show GEORGE T. COTTAM OBSERVES BIRTHDAY Monday, October 29, was the j eighty-second birthday of George T. Cottam, one of Dixie's pioneers. pion-eers. He spent a quiet day at home but several weeks ago members of his family had all returned home with their families fam-ilies and celebrated for a few-days few-days with their parents. Mrs. Cottam observed her seventy-eighth birthday on October Octo-ber 6. Both are much loved and respected here and are faithful faith-ful attendants at the temple and are able to get around quite well at this time. They have been married sixty years last June, having been married mar-ried in the endowment house at Salt Lake City in 1874. (Since that time they have lived in St. George where Mr. Cottam followed follow-ed the occupation of farming. The News joins with their many friends in wishing them many more hajppy birthdays and health and strength through the years to come. |
