Show TOQUERVILLE fOQUERVILLE, Jan. 10. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Showalter of Buhl, Idaho, arrived here Wednesday Wed-nesday after a visit in California. Califor-nia. They were accompanied by A. C. Newell of Los Angeles. Leon Slack and A. C. Newell left Sunday for their home in Los Angeles. Miss Evadean Crosby of St. George spent the week end here visiting friends. Friday evening a group of relatives surprised Mrs. L I. Higbee at an ice cream party, the occasion being her 70th birthday. birth-day. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Seeg-rniller Seeg-rniller entertained Saturday at a card party. High honor went to Mrs. Harry Slack and consolation con-solation was awarded Mrs. Andrew An-drew Olds. Mrs. C. P. Leamaster returned Tuesday from Salt Lake City where she had spent a month on account of the serious illness of her mother. Miss Cola Slack spent a few-days few-days in St. George last week attending at-tending sessions of leadership week. Mrs. Douglas Manning arrived here Saturday to visit her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Walter L. Beatty. A. P. Spilsbury is here taking care of his cattle. E. R. Higbee returned today from Las Vegas. |
