Show LEGION CONVENTION COMMITTEE MEETS Sub-chairmen composing the convention committee of the American Am-erican Legion met hist Monday night at the call of Henry Pickett, Pick-ett, general convention chairman. A tentative outline of what each was expected to do was given by the chairman and preliminary work is now under way. A souvenir program will be printed and 5000 copies distributed distrib-uted throughout the state to Legion, Auxiliary and Forty and Eight members. It is the plan to hold committee meetings every ev-ery two weeks throughout the spring and summer. Representatives of the state department will be in St. George in February to check over arrangements ar-rangements being made and offer of-fer suggestions to the local coiv -mittee. |
