Show VEYO Veyo, Feb. 14. We arehavhiga fine storm. It began to snow about ten o'clock Saturday morning and has been snowing most of the time since. The weather is warm so a great deal of the snow melts as it falls, there being only about 4 or 5 inches on the level. Mr. and Mrs. Justin Chamberlain and children of Kanab, Mrs. ,W. R. Walker of Delta, Mrs. J. C. Kartch- uer ui .tsuice, ivioni., ana Miss June 1 Bunker of Provo came in to attend their father, S. A. Bunker's funeral. They stayed a few days visiting friends and relatives. The ward recreation committee is giving a farewell party tonight for Wilford Hunt, who leaves tomorrow for a mission to the Northwestern States. Will Gates and crew of men under him, working for the Dixie Power Co. have had to lay off a few days on account ac-count of the storm. Mr. and Mrs. 'John H. Bowler have gone to Sf. George to stay some time. They are there under the doctors care. |
