Show NEW HARMONY Last Friday evening the primary pri-mary presented a Spring Festival. Fest-ival. It was featuring grandmother's grand-mother's garden. The stage setting set-ting was a garden with little boys and girls representing spring flowers. A hedge made of lilacs ran the length of the stage and a large family tree was in the background. Tla Taylor, the grandmother was very fittingly dressed in an old fashioned white satin dress, which was worn by her mother on her wedding day. The accessories access-ories white mitts, black satin sunbonnet, grey hair and lavender laven-der perfume made ' a striking picture. The little grandmother Carrol Hale, eight years old, dressed in an old fashioned lawn dress was the solo singer. After the festival, the remainder remain-der of the evening was spent in dancing and the serving of light refreshments. The quilt made by the Blue Bird girls, was won by Josephine Taylor. Supt. Milton E. Mjoody and Miss Tillie Winsor were visitors at our school Tuesday. |
