Show UHS names art exhibit winners Uintah High Schools' Schools annual art show Is being held this week in connection with the State of Utah's Week of the Arts for the Young The exhibit is on display all week in the student lounge and will also be open to the public from to Wednesday and Thursday evenings WINNERS in this years high school show are In crafts and 3 D 3 D art category 1st 1st place went to Elaine Fisher for her ner Macrame chair and 2nd place went to Diane Batty third place Brenda Huber and honorable mention was won by Gary Bigelow fora for a bellIn belt bell In the opaque painting category category category ca ca- ca- ca Kim Mackay took 1st place Tanna Anderson took 2nd place third place went to Kim Mackay Nancy Long was awarded honorable mention In the transparent painting category 1st place went to Kim Mackay 2nd place to o Terry Pickering third place Kim Mackay and Brenda Huber won honorable mention 1st place in the graphics category went to Linda Perry 2nd place Kim Mackay Nancy Long took third place honorable mention went to Kim Macka Mackay TIlE THE MOST valued award Best of Show this year went to Susan McBride for her macrame hanging chair Judges for the exhibit were Carolyn Ellis Chuck Swain and Colleen Martin All three are arc members of the Little Gallery of Arts This years year's show Is the largest and possibly the best bat ever held at Uintah lIf High l f w School It Is hoped that everyone everyone everyone every every- one will take the opportunity to see sec It stated Glenn Spencer art director |
