Show Community Concert slates Spanish dancers Lola Montes Monies and her Spanish dancers will be presented to the membership of the Uintah Community Concert Association mCCA on Saturday in the Vernal Junior High School Auditorium at pm p.m. according to Curtis May association president Attendance At Attendance is by membership card only MISS MONTES and her company presents a wide range of authentic Latin dances from lovely Spanish classical dances to fiery Flamenco from folk dances of Old Spain to the tha traditional dances of the natives of many Latin countries countries coun tries of the New World Miss Monies Montes creates the choreography for many of her dance numbers and designs m most t of the c costumes for herself and the Company The regional costumes are authentic and come from the areas where the dances originated On her trips to Spain she has added many dances to her ever eer growing repertoire made sketches of the native costumes and obtained ob oh- tamed original accessories such as combs mantillas shawls i and jewelry to insure that tha t the presentations of her Company are completely authentic Lola Montes Monies and her Spanish Dancers performed for the Uintah Community Concert Association two years ago and were received with such acclaim acclaim acclaim ac ac- ac- ac claim that they were invited to return this year Mr May stated ALTHOUGH attendance is by membership card only members may bring out of town guests with them Nonmembers Nonmembers Non Non- members who want to attend may do so by paying next years year's membership fee and receiving this as a bonus concert Call Mrs David Condon for information information information in in- formation about this This will be the final concert of the 75 1974 season a season which has seen seen tour four outstanding concerts presented in Vernal to people of the entire Uintah Basin aasin area Membership fees will be payable in September for the 76 1975 season Association officers in addition addition addition ad ad- to Mr May include Mrs Condon vice-president vice Mrs Norwood Hardy secretary and Paul Jensen treasurer |
