C Mayes in an impressive ceremony officiated by Bishop Robert Haight of oC the Union Eighth Ward Deborah is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Keith Squire of oC Vernal James is the son of oC Mr and Mrs Orval A A. Lucas of oC Soda Springs Idaho The ceremony took place in the Vernal First Ward Chapel at pm p.m. five Eighty guests attended the wedding set setin setin setin in spring garden scenery The brides bride's colors were lime green and yellow The backdrop was of oC pussy willows daffodils and daisies i lighted with miniature yellow and green lights JUDY A Y played the March from Crom Lohengrin as the bride was escorted down the stairs by her father Cather Mark was the ring bearer Diane Mower the Maid of oC Honor was followed by Christy Needles Diane Vernon Lynette Nickell and Susan Allen all bridesmaids The best man was Craig Allen The hall was uniquely decorated with lighted garden scenes of oC pine logs evergreens plants and daffodils A cluster of oC yellow wedding bells hung in inthe inthe inthe the center of oC the room The tables were decorated with centerpieces of daffodils and greenery The centerpiece on the serving table was the three three- wedding cake a gift from Debbie's aunts Jerry Peterson and Jayne Richard Richard- son The cake was topped with daffodils and baby breath and decorated with drapes of oC icing caught up by delicate yellow daisies with pale green leaves On each end of oC the table were bowls of oC lime green frappe Guests were also served eclairs Boston cream cakes green and yellow mints and nuts DR un AND MRS JOHN JOliN Sid Sid- greeted at the door The brides bride's father was at the head of oC the reception line followed by Mrs Franklin Squire the brides bride's grandmother Carole Squire the brides bride's mother Charlie Cunningham a friend of the groom Craig Allen AlIeni the bride and groom and the attendants attendants at at- Carole and Mrs Squire wore long lime green and white dresses with long sleeves accenting the shirt shirtwaist waist styles They wore corsages corsages cor cor- sages of oC daffodils and white carnations The long wl white te flocked- flocked rayon empire bridal gown was trimmed at the high neckline with seed pearls A net veil fell feU from a pearl designed tiarra The brides bride's mother made her dress The bridal bouquet was daffodils daisies and yellow roses The attendants wore long yellow and lime green checked gingham dresses and held bouquets of daffodils and daisies At the guest book took was Sherry Dean THE Tm DECORATIONS were arranged by Eloise o Paull Paul Mr Mc and Mrs Keith Squire and Mr and Mrs Earl The evergreens were furnished by Lyle e of the Green Thumb Nursery and the plants by Helen Banks The pussy t willows were provided by Leland McNeill Presiding at the serving table were Jerry Peterson and June Twelve cousins of oC the bride served Those helping Inthe in inthe inthe the kitchen were Ramond Peterson Marva Hacking lacking Pearl Derlene Merrell Francis Emery and Virginia Velter THOSE ATTENDING from Crom town out were Mrs Franklin Squire Mr and Mrs Morris Squire and family Camily Mr and Mrs Gaylen Squire and family Camily and Mr and Mrs John Henry and family all of oC Manti Dr and Mrs John and family Camily Dr and Mrs Ray Paull and family Camily Mr and Mrs Roger Mr and Mrs John Jr and Bishop and Mrs Robert Haight all of OC Salt Lake City Mr and Mrs Jay Richardson and Mr and Mrs Norman Larsen of oC Bount Bountiful ul Mr and Mrs Gene Peterson family of oC Sandy Mr and Mrs Larry Wilson of oC Price Mr and Mrs Leland Hansen of oC Tremonton and John Metcalf of QC Soda Springs Idaho Debbie graduated from Crom Uintah High School with the class of oC 70 where she was active in the Drama Pep German and Americanism Clubs and a member of oC Model UN U.N. She graduated from BYU in 1973 with a B BS S degree in Elementary Education She then attended Utah State University and graduated with double certification in Special Education in December 1974 Since that time she has been employed by the Jordan School District JIM GRADUATED from Crom Rio Hlo Mesa High School in Oxnard California with the the class class of oC 67 He then attended Glendale Junior College Glendale California where he played football He graduated with an anAA anAA AA M degree in Physical Education and Police Science He served as police officer for Cor two years in San Jose California and then became a Ranger in the US U.S. Army He served for Cor three years being discharged after aUer being wounded in Vietnam He lie is employed In a managerial trall training ng program by Sambo's Restaurants and has been working at Sambo's on State Street in Salt Lake City He lie will willbe willbe willbe be continuing the training program for Cor Sambo's in San Francisco where the couple will be making their home at present |
