Sheryl Neal led the Utes in the second quarter at four points on two field noals and Anderson, Drollinner and Tia Liebhardt added two points each. Squires scored four points in the second quarter for American Fork and Vincent added two counters. Both teams failed to cash in on free throw tries, but American Fork finally broke the tiu on a field goal by Maxwell for a 31-29 lead. Shiela Nelson converted one out of two free throws and Liebhardt connected on a field goal try for a 32-31 L'intah lead. Anderson added six points and Nelson scored one point. Vincent led the Cavewomen with 13 points. She fired in six field goals and hit 1 out of 4 free throws.
