Show Beta.Nu Beta Nu chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Monday evening, Feb. 21 at the home of RoseMary Pike with president Susan Messenger presiding. A thank-you note was read by President Presi-dent Messenger from Becky Rawls, their reigning Sweetheart Queen. The Sweetheart Ball was attended recently by members and their husbands. Beta Sigma Phi's three local chapter queens were escorted by their husbands. President Susan Messenger crowned Beta Nu's queen, Becky Rawls. Their first dance was dedicated to the three queens and their husbands. The remainder re-mainder of the evening was spent dancing. Members are planning to once again have a taco booth at the upcoming spring bazaar, March 19, at the National Guard Armory sponsored by Xi Alpha Xi. Plans were also discussed for a "grum-mage "grum-mage sale" ; combination of garage and rummage sale which is to be held April 16. Anyone having donations can call RoseMary Pike at 789-4933 or 789-5900. Donations are appreciated. Sheryl McCullough and Mary Lee Godfrey God-frey presented the program on "Home" with Jessica Jones from Window Works and Interiors, who demonstrated new-ideas new-ideas on do-it-yourself home decorating. The next meeting will be March 7 at the home of Glenda Smarr. |
