Van Orden, an otolaryngologist or ear, nose and throat specialist from Salt Lake City, will be conducting a monthly clinic in Vernal beginning the first week in March. This will save the trip to Salt Lake City for many cases, especially children needing "tubes" or tympanostomies. Dr. Van Orden obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Utah College of Medicine and completed com-pleted specialty training in otolaryngology at the U.S. Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He practiced several years in the Navy in the field of submarine and diving medicine. He has practiced privately in Salt Lake City for about 15 years. Dr. Van Orden is licensed to practice by the State of Utah and is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has been the president of the Utah State Society of Otolaryngology. He specializes in surgery and diseases of the ears, nose and throat. Through his recent association with Dale W. Reese, an audiologist, who will be with Dr. Van Orden during the Vernal clinics, expanded services in audiology and hearing aid evaluation and prescription will be possible. His monthly clinics will be held at the Ashley Valley Medical Center in Vernal. Appointments may be arranged by calling 789-5113. |
