Show c fe 1 -' x -J v'- The Viraje Folk Ensemble of Latin America Viraje Folk Ensemble to present community concert The Viraje Folk Ensemble of Latin America will present a concert for the members of the Uintah Community Concert Association Thursday, March K arr orriins to Curtis Mav. association president. Curtain time is 8:15 p.m. Admittance is by membership card only. Members are reminded that they may bring out-of-town guests to the concert with them, or they may loan their membership cards if they are unable to attend. Viraje is composed of young musicians whose backgrounds encompass en-compass nearly every musical style: classical, folk, Jazz and Latin America. The instruments they use are equally diverse: traditional Latin American rix h as the quena, tiple, bambo charango, quiro, maracas, claves, UmH'iH. tumbas. bote, concerros, and We.t'-rn instruments sum h the Spanish guitar, standard transverse flute, electric guitar and bass, drums and saxophone. |
