Show V 1 ... : Cory L. Hatch Cory Hatch dies in SLC hospital Cory LeRoy Hatch, 21, of Vernal died at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City of cystic fibrosis, March 12, 1982. He was born Sept. 5, I960 in Vernal to Gary N. (Red) and Sherry Karren Hatch. He graduated from I'intah High School in 1979 and also graduated from Utah Technical College as a gunsmith which was his occupation. He was a Priest in the Vernal 4th Ward. Survivors are his parents of Vernal; brother, Lincoln (Link) Hatch of Vernal; and grandparents, Mrs. Vernal Karren of Vernal and Mrs. Lois Gibson of Ogden. A sister, Michelle Hatch, preceded him in death. Services were held in the Vernal Fourth Ward Chapel, Tuesday. March 16, and Bishop John H. Lent was in charge. The family prayer was given by Kenneth Hatch. Marva Lent and Lois Erickson sang "I am a Child of God." Dez Murray gave the invocation. Brent Anderson gave some remarks and Wallace Goddard spoke. Jan King sang "You Decorated My Life." accompanied ac-companied by Laura Fox. DeArmon Batty spoke. "Danny Boy" was sung by Mike Karren and Dixie Horrocks. DuaneSoderquist gave the benediction. Bishop Clark Abegglen dedicated the grave. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne Merrill, Matt Hacking. Mark Partridge, Robert Mooseman. Troy Collier and Paul Weeks Honorary pallbearers were the 4th Ward Quorum of Elders, Scott Fuller, Vernon Merkley, Curtis Machado, Dale Allen, Gordon Seitz and Mark Migliori. |
