At the northwest elementary at the old Lapoint school site, construction workers are pouring the footings and walls. The completion date for both elementaries, Dec. 24, 1982, has been pushed back, but district staff is optimistic op-timistic that the two schools will be ready for students no later than the 1983 school year. The Uintah School Board bid both the building of the same design in order to save money on building costs.
