Show COUNTRY MEADOWS EDUCATION PROGRAM STARTS UP The Country Meadows Education Center began its 8th year of operation Thursday, Sept. 3, with parent orientation and registration. The school hosts a faculty of five teachers this year. School director is Ora Fay Oviatt, who will teach the Suzuki Music Program and will correlate field trips and preschool curriculum. Mrs. Oviatt has a masters degree in early childhood education and educational administration ad-ministration from the University of Utah. Marsha Oleen, teacher of the early childhood development program, has taught eight years at Country Meadows. She majored in elementary education and early childhood education at Utah State University. Jeneal Huff Witbeck will teach the pre-kindergarten pre-kindergarten program. She is a Vernal native and graduated from Utah State University in elementary education. Sharlene Mathiesen is new to the staff this year. She will teach the pre-kindergarten. pre-kindergarten. She has a degree in elementary education from BYU. Marjean Oviatt will teach the Suzuki Cello Program for ages three and older. Marjean has taught cello for , the Uintah School District String Program and has taught private cello lessons. She is a junior at Uintah High School. The music program at Country Meadows will begin Tuesday, Sept. 22. |
