V, vV- ;t THE AIR CONDITIONING duct was pried open and burglar entered the Home Entertainment Center through the roof, but a burglar alarm brought police to the scene. j Four arrests made on Vernal burglaries Four arrests were made last week in connection with two burglaries of Vernal merchants, reported Vernal City Police. Patrol officers Reed Willits and Mike Smith responded to a burglar alarm about midnight Thursday at the Home Entertainment Center, 145 West Main. When the officers arrived at the scene, they observed a suspect at-1 at-1 tempting to climb off the roof of the building. Recovered from the burglary were three televisions valued at $1,050, said Darrell Lance, Vernal City Police. Also Monday afternoon, June 8, a 1981 Thunderbird belonging to Bill J. ' Harvey received S800 in damage. According to police seven smoke bombs were thrown through an open sun roof while the car was parked in front of the ' Harvey residence, 161 North 1150 West. The smoke bombs burned the seat and upholstery in the car. The owner was not at home when the incident occurred. |
