Show Side effects of cancer cure Question: I am going to have radiation therapy, and have heard that I can expect to have severe nausea and vomiting. Does everyone suffer from such side effects of treatment? Answer: Nausea and vomiting are side effects typically associated with this type of therapy. However everyone does not experience them during treatment. These side effects, when they occur, also depend on dosage of the radiation. You should consult your physician as to what you may expect and what kind of diet will be in your best interest. Footnote: Anna Oldham has been president of the Uintah Unit of the American Cancer Society since last October, and she reported to me the other day that there have been 19 cases of cancer reported to her since she took office. Four of those Uintah County cases have occured in Maeser, my corner of the world. |
