The group was welcomed by Steven K. Cox, county agent, and Holly Hen-dricksen, Hen-dricksen, home economist. Brett Baker led the pledge of allegiance, Shelton Humphries led the 4-H pledge and Melinda Wayland gave the prayer. Special presentations were given by Marjean Oviatt, Arlynn Baker and Marcia Southam. Miss Oviatt gave her winning egg presentation demonstration demon-stration on chiffon cakes which she will present in Louisville, Ky., this month. Miss Baker and Miss Southam gave a presentation . on their trip to Conservation Con-servation Camp this summer. Presentation of awards was made by Mr. Cox and Miss Hendricksen on record book competition. Minute book awards were given to first place Super Stirrer, Wendy Wayland and Super Snippers, Melinda Wayland; second place, Tangy Turnovers, Tur-novers, Steven Lind and Westside Busy Bakers, Barbara Winn; third place, Jr. Spurs, Julie McMickell, and Kookie Kookers, Michelle Humphries. First Security Bank savings awards were presented to outstanding one to . three year members: Joelle Oviatt, () Ryanr W4nn,tra Japner, ,atid , ;Stqr-mie ;Stqr-mie Allen. - - Four year membership completion pins were awarded to Brett Baker, Michelle Bascom, Shellie Belcher, Kim Christofferson, Penny Curtin, Monte Frost, Shane Frost, Jamie Hacking, ' Lori Hogue, Joy Hunsaker, Steven Lind, Debbie Long, Cindy Merrell, Dennis Murray, Troy Murray, Dorthea Oldaker, Ryan Oldaker, Philip Oviatt, Larlee Palmer, Tawny Schurz, Mark Slaugh, Matt Slaugh, Danna Snow and Jennifer White. Achievement pins, donated by the Ford Motor Company, went to MarKay Caldwell, Arlynn Baker, Marjean Oviatt and Susan Stoll. International Harvester donated agriculture pins awarded to Lynnette Morrill, Evan Harrison, Steven Harrison and Joe Newell. Food preservation pins, donated by Kerr Mfg. Corp., were awarded to Arlynn Baker. The American Quarter Horse Association donated pins for horse awards to Julie McMickel, Sheri - Butler, Joe Newell and Michelle Mathes. Leadership pins went to Marjean Oviatt, Teresa Tanner, Arlynn Baker and Susan Stoll and were donated by Reader's Digest. The Simplicity Pattern Co., donated style review pins awarded to Marjean Oviatt, MarKay Caldwell, Kim Nelson and Michelle Humphries. A swine pin was awarded to Lynnette Morrill. Beef awards went to Ryan Winn, Janet Kent, Monte Frost and Shane Frost. Bread awards, donated by Standard Bread, Inc., were awarded to Dawn Barton, Penny Curtis, Ryan Wright and Philip Oviatt. Clothing awards, donated by Coats and Clarks, Inc., went to MarKay Caldwell and Marjean Oviatt. Clothing awards donated by Uintah County went to Melinda and Wendy Wayland. Dog care and training awards, donated by the Purina Dog Food Group were awarded to Philip and Marjean Oviatt. The entomology award went to Kenneth Merrell donated by Mobay Chemical Corp. Food conservation and safety pins, donated by Reynolds Metal' Co., were presented to Marjean Oviatt, Teresa Tanner, Joelle Oviatt and Wendy Wayland. Food nutrition pins, donated by General Food Corp., were awarded to Steven Lind, Brett Baker, Amy Held and Tara Hunting. Cat pins were awarded to Teresa Tanner, Darin Morrill, Marjean and Philip Oviatt. Julie Walton and Shelton Humphries were awarded art pins. Poultry awards were given to Marjean, Philip and Joelle Oviatt. Sheep awards were given to Lynnette Morrill and Joe Newell. Horse certificates were awarded to '" . Camp certificates were given to Shelton Humphries, Karen Daily, Michelle Humpries, Tracy Moon, Misty Massey, LaRena Caldwell, Cald-well, Dorthea Oldaker and Arlynn Baker. Delegates from Uintah County attending at-tending the Western Regional 4-H leaders forum were awarded a pin and a certificate. They were Marion Behunin, Doris Humphries, Connie Southam, Judy Brighton, Irene Wayland and Ora Fay Oviatt. A five year leader pin went to Jeanette Nelson and Fern Long received a ten year pin.
