Show BLM Employee Receives Superior Perf ormcp.ee Award Reed H. Wilson, Bureau of Land Management range technician, tech-nician, received a $200 superior super-ior performance award as he retired from 25 years of federal employment, announces C. Delano Backus, Canyon Area Manager, Monticello. A certificate certif-icate and letter of congratula tions from State Director Paul M. Howard accompanied the award. Mr. Backus stated that throughout Mr. Wilson's career ca-reer in the Vernal, Monticello, and Moab BLM Districts, he demonstrated enthusiasm for the work and a willingness to adapt to new programs. He accepted the responsibility for many programs, such as preparation of environmental analysis reports, surface protection, pro-tection, and visitor contact, even though they were not directly a part of his job. As a result, much work was ac complished that would otherwise other-wise have been delayed or not done. Mr. Wilson's co-workers in the Moab District join in congratulating him and extend their best wishes to him for the future. |
