Show HAWAIIAN LUAU One hundred Moab Senior Citizens were honored at a "Hawaiian Luau Feast" August Aug-ust 17 at 7 p.m. Ralph Miller Jr. and his wife, Shirley, Jean Posey and 3 other helpers from Miller's Super Market served the delicious dinner of baked ham, fried chicken, and all the other good food to go along with it. The tables were decorated beautifully with fresh anther-urn anther-urn flowers flown in air mail special delivery from Hilo, Hawaii. There were also 200 baby vanda orchids and 6 fresh orchid leis, all from Lanenia Walstein, a former Moabite. They came with a note to all Senior Citizens, "Aloha from the Hawaiian Islands! Best wishes for a Happy Hawaiian evening and always, 'Aloha Nuil'" The dinner was held inside South East Elementary school lunch room on account of bad weather. The hall was decor-beautiful decor-beautiful Hawaiian music re-beautiful re-beautiful lllawaiian music records re-cords were played before and during the meal. Everyone present was given a lei to wear. After the dinner the crowd went to Senior Citizen Hall where they danced until 11 p.m. Everyone said they enjoyed en-joyed the wonderful meal and a card of thanks was sent to Ralph and Shirley Miller, co Millers Super Market, from the Senior Citizens of Monb.
