Show (sis) Reports... By Brenda Boyd , i August has been and will continue to be the busiest month of the year for our club. The Moab 13 and under 4 H Regional horse show was held here Saturday August 13 with the Moab team taking first and the Monticello team taking tak-ing second. The all around high point trophy went to a Monticello member. Wednesday, August 17, the Moab senior team traveled to Price for the 14 and over regional horse show. They competed against San Juan, Carbon, and Duschesne Counties. Coun-ties. They competed in 3 events and a written test. The Moab team, composed of Roy Krist, Brenda Boyd, Sue Graham, Melaine Dowley, and Jill Krist, won first and are the four qualified to go to state and compete. The Moab 4-H riding club members 13 and under will travel to Price, Utah for the annual District meet August 27. The Moab members 14 and older will travel to Nephi, Utah for the 4-H state horse show August 27. The Moab member entered a table in the kaleidoscope 4-H fair August 13 and won the Grand Champion ribbon. The club will start work on the 4-H ranks within the next 3 weeks. The club has planned a 4-H Trail Ride to Ranch Creek for the weekend of September 3-5.
