Show Kennel club hosts obedience clinic . Ron and Nancy Hines, trainers from Denver, will conduct an obedience clinic on -Saturday, June 25, at the Extension Building at the LaPlata County fair grounds. Registration will be at 9 a.m. with the clinic starting at 9:30, lasting until 3:30, with a break for lunch. There will be a $2 registration fee, with the fee waived for 4-Hers. Ann Couttet, of Georgetown, George-town, with her 15 High in Trial Golden Retriever "Gold-enloe's "Gold-enloe's Just Ducky," will assist. This dog was 5th in the Gaines Super Dog National, and has won the Dog World award on both his CD and CDX titles. -' Ron Hines will have along his Australian Cattle Dog "Pine Cone's Terrible Tarey-ton, Tarey-ton, UD", which is the number one obedience dog in the world in his breed. Novice, Open and Utility training will be covered, as well as obedience stewarding and dog behavior, personality and temperament. A welcome is extended to all interested in dog training, and they are to bring their dogs, where some work with them will be done on the patio. |
