Show l ) f Y Mrs. Scott Vloa Johnston Young couple married in recent ceremonies St. Francis Episcopal Church was the setting for the wedding uniting Julie Elaine Peterson and Scott Vion Johnston on June 4. 1977. The Rev. E. John Langlitz officiated officiat-ed at the Saturday afternoon double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Peterson and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Vion JohnMon. 1 ,ie bride and bridegroom were given in marriage by both parents. The bride was attired in a lovely silk organza gown fashioned entraine. The empire bodice was outlined with French Alencon cotton lace. Her picture hat matched the dress with chiffon overlay appliqued with the lace and a tulle illusion shoulder-length veil. She carried a bouquet of white daisies, stephanotis, yellow roses and baby's breath with miniature daisy and fern bouquets attached on yellow ribbon streamers. Jana Curfman attended as maid of honor wearing a floor-length gown of mint green dotted voile over taffeta with the scooped neckline gently ruffled. Her matching green hat was similar to the bride's and trimmed with daisies. She carried a smaller replica of the bridal bouquet in white daisies. Bridesmaids, Kim Ing and Tomi Ossana wore matching gowns of yellow dotted voile over taffeta. styledi identically to Miss Curman's complete with matching yellow picture hats with daisy trim. They carried yellow and w hite daisy bouquets. Lisa Mayhew, flower girl, was dressed in a mint green gown and hat designed like the bridesmaids, and she gracefully graceful-ly scattered rose petals down the bridal path. Michael May-hew, May-hew, ring bearer, attired in a mint green suit complete with a daisy boutonniere carried car-ried a heart shaped sating ring pillow. They are the grandchildren grand-children of Mrs. Betty Curf man. The bridegroom w as attended attend-ed by Rick Martin as best man. The ushers were Mark Gram-lich Gram-lich and Kevin Peterson, brother of the bride. They were attired in pale yellow tuxedos with daisy and fern boutonnieres. The grooms boutonniere was stephanotis fern and white daisies. The altar was flanked with beautiful arrangements of daisies, baby's breath and ivy. The candclabrums were draped drap-ed in ivy. The pews were decorated with white satin bows accented in daisies. Vernon Erb was the soloist and he sang, "Baby I'm a Want You"- the couple's song. After the services started he sang "The Wedding Song" and "Whither Thou Goest" accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Fran Townscnd on the organ and Don Davis on the guitar.
