Show NOTICE TO PUBLIC PUBLIC HEARING On the Location Features f a Proposed Highway Project Entailing Construction of a Highway Maintenance Station Sta-tion near Thompson, Utah. The Slate Road Commission Commis-sion of Utah herewith advises all interested persons or groups of the proposed construction con-struction of a highway maintenance main-tenance station near Thompson Thomp-son in Grand County. All are hereby invited to attend and to participate in a Location Public Hearing on said pro. ject which will be held on Thursday, June 15, 1972, at 1:30 p.m. in the Moab City Hall, Council Chambers, 121 East Center Street, Moab,' Utah. Governing officials of Grand County and Thompson City have been advised. The proposed Highway Maintenance Shed will be constructed con-structed on a site in the SE of SW14 of Sec. 21, T. 21 S., R. 20 E., Salt Lake Base and Meridian which is approximately approxi-mately 1 mile south of Thompson Thomp-son adjacent to and east of the county road to Valley City. Sufficient land will be purchased from private ownership own-ership to accommodate a 9-stall shed with appurtenant facilities. Information to be present- -ed at the hearing will include in-clude a discussion of the location lo-cation features of the pro- -ject. Appropriate illustrative materials will be available for inspection. During the hearing, verbal andor written writ-ten testimony pertaining to the features of the proposed project or to its social, economic ec-onomic and environmental effects ef-fects will be received from all interested persons or groups. Any person or group unable to . attend the public hearing, but wishing to give testimony pertinent to the aforementioned, aforemen-tioned, project, may do so in writing. This testimony should be directed to the State Road Commission of Utah and ,. mailed to the Utah State Department De-partment of Highways, Attention: Atten-tion: James E. For inclusion in the official trans-'' -cript of the public hearing proceedings, letters must be postmarked 'no later ' than midnight, June 26, 1972, Please begin such testimony by making reference to the hearing or the project. The purpose of- this hearing hear-ing is to discuss the general location of the proposed maintenance main-tenance station. Detailed design de-sign features cannot be, developed de-veloped until the location is established. An additional public hearing, to discuss design de-sign features of tills project will be conducted or the opportunity op-portunity for such a hearing afforded at a later date. sHENRY C.
