Show Two California Women Killed in Crash An accident on 1-70 about 8 miles west of Green River Tuesday, June 6, took the lives of two California women, wom-en, Estyl eMcLain and Norma Finkenbinder. The accident occurred when Glade Eugene Chidester of Salt Lake City, 25, began to make a left turn in a dump truck loaded with gravel. Dr. Ezra D. Finkenbinder, 47, driving a 1967 Buick was apparently ap-parently traveling at a high rate of speed and started to pass the truck when he noticed no-ticed that the vehicle was going to make a turn. He applied the brakes and went into a skid, hitting the rear fender of the truck broadside. broad-side. Dr. Finkenbinder suffered suf-fered broken ribs and facial lacerations in the incident. Other passengers in the car were John R. McLain of Petaluma, Calif., who suffered suffer-ed facial lacerations and a minor back injury; and Cleo Jean Bowden of Tracy, Calif., who sustained a broken pelvis, pel-vis, broken leg and head and face lacerations. The car was totally demolished demol-ished in the accident, while the truck received only minor damages.
