Lomenick, both of Moab, in a 2:00 p.m. candlelight ser. vice May 20 at the Community Commun-ity Baptst . Church. Background Back-ground music, theme from Love Story, was played by organist Mrs. Joan Cox. Soloist, Mrs. Fran Town-send Town-send then sang Love Story, accompanied by pianist, Mrs. Cal Wyatt.After the traditional tradi-tional Lohengrn's processional, proces-sional, the prospective groom sang "Because" to his bride-to-be as she came down the aisle on the right arm of her father. Upon conclusion of the closing prayer, Mrs. Fran Townsend sang the Lord's Prayer. The Rev. mil Balla officiated at the double -rng ceremony. . The bride, given in marriage mar-riage by her parents, selected select-ed a wedding gown fashioned fashion-ed in a bouffant silouette of Chantillace. The portrait neckline was highlghted wth irridescents. The Victorian sleeves were finished with a wide cuff. The ruffled tiers of the skirt lengthened n1-. the back to form a Cathedral length train. She carried an old-fashioned nosegay of an orchid, carnations and baby breath daintly placed on her satin-covered Bible. Her tiera, made of tiny seed pearls held the veil made of bridal tulle and was edged with the tiny seed pearls. Attending the couple was Miss Vicki Gentry, maid of honor, who wore a gown fashioned of aqua poly-sheer trimmed with dainty veniss lace. Lace enhanced the high neckline and the ruffle de-. fined th round yoke. Short puff sleeves and a deep hemline hem-line ruffle completed the sil-houet'f. sil-houet'f. Her headpiece was a bow and ringlts of matching match-ing aqua satin. She carried a nosegay of blue carnations tied with bridal white satin' ribbon. Dee Ferguson served serv-ed as best man. The bride's mother was beautifully attired in an afternoon af-ternoon langth pale yellow ipou-de-soie and . matching (silk organza ensemble. She wore a pale yellow corsage ,of carnations. The groom's .mother was lovely in a muted mut-ed maroon and white dress and wore a corsage, of white carnations. The ring bearer was Travis Tra-vis Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Robertson. The flower girl was Blues-ette Blues-ette Ossana, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Victor. A reception, in the church hall, was held following the ceremony. Hostesses were Mrs. Quick Kelling, Mrs. Ron Robertson, and Mrs. Konkel. The hall was decorated dec-orated with clusters of bells, bows and lilics-of-lhe-valley. Each table displayed a centerpiece cen-terpiece of silver with blue candles and blue carnatons tied wilh white, which were the bride's colors. The bridal table was covered with white taffeta and net and decorated decorat-ed with bows and wedding bells accented with tiny seed pearls. A lighted silver can-dlelabra can-dlelabra and other silver appointments ap-pointments completed the bride's table. The beautifully decorated blue and white wedding cake was made and mother, Mrs. Carl Lomenick. As the pictures were talc-en, talc-en, the bride and groom cut the first piece of cake and drank a marriage toast. The receiving line was then formed for . welcoming the gusets. Miss Karen Reisser n and Miss Julia Killebrew presided presid-ed over the guest book and the gift book. Following the recpetion, the immediate out-of-town guests and Friends were entertained en-tertained at the home of the bride's parents. The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Morris Wilson and laughter Lori and Lesa, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Crowe and son David, Mrs. James Can. trell and sons Jimmy and Lester, Mrs. Harry Batson, Mrs. J. R. Sparks and sons Chris ,Michael and Derek. Pre -Nuptial events included includ-ed a rehearsal buffet at the home of the bride. A bridal shower was given by Mrs. Fred Konkel and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Boyd at the home of Mrs. Boyd. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Wilson of 283 Walker. Lomenick is the. son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lomenick, Mill Creek Drive. After a ten-day honeymoon enroute, the couple will make their home in Kings-ville, Kings-ville, Texas, where Lomenick Lome-nick is stationed with the U- S. Navy. ' ! : ,U;J |
