The Ek-kers Ek-kers were with their daughter, Phyllis, while her six-months old baby, Nicole, underwent major surgery at the Primary Children's Hospital for the removal of tumors from her eyes. Don Ekker, Ek-ker, their son, underwent under-went a tonsilectomy at the same time. A farewell party was given Marjorie Chaney Saturday by the employees employ-ees at the Poor Boy Cafe prior to her departure de-parture to Arizona where she'll spend the winter. Mrs. Faye Holt will be managing the cafe and motel under the supervision super-vision of Fern Hunt. Mrs. Lucille Ekker .Simpson, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Wy-oming, a former resident, resi-dent, recently received her Master's Degree at ceremonies at Ft. Collins, Col-lins, Colo. She has been teaching high school in Cheyenne for a number of years. Attending graduation gra-duation exercises were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Jensen, Salina residents, and Mr. Simpson's Simp-son's parents from California Cal-ifornia and a sister-in-law from New Zealand. Mr. Simpson is a captain capt-ain in the Air Force stationed at Cheyenne. Wayne High School will present "The Adorable Imp" a comedy in three acts, Nov. 30 at Wayne High under the direction of Mr. Blackburn and Mrs. Keele.
