Show Cooking Class Stresses High Protein end Vegetables , Beginning Sunday, Nov. 11 and running through Friday, Nov. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m., residents re-sidents will have a chance chan-ce to learn how to lower lo-wer blood cholesterol by better cooking, and live longer. Castle Valley Institute, Insti-tute, and the Moab Seventh Se-venth - day Adventist Church, in cooperation with Rescu-Med, Inc., Provo, and the Grand County School District will present a class de-demonstrating de-demonstrating the benefits ben-efits of a vegetable pro-tien pro-tien diet; to lower food dosts and stretch the food dollar. Demonstrations will be given in preparing prepar-ing healthful, inexpensive inexpen-sive foods, and there will be samples each night. The classes will be held at the Home Ec - 11 ' "'-' room of the Moab Area Vocational Center. Registration Re-gistration fee, including cookbook, is $6, and those who wish to taKe uie class may register by calling 259-7429. The classes will be led by Miss Petra Sukau of Rescue-Med. She has had a number of years' experience ex-perience in health education educa-tion here and in Burma. A native of Germany, where healthful living has been stressed as a way of life, she currently curren-tly directs a program called Health Conditioning Condition-ing - European Style. Door prizes will be included in-cluded in the class, and the public is invited to attend the sessions. |
