Show ... i Girl Scout Leader Volunteers Will Meet in Provo Seminar Some of Utah's top radio, rad-io, television and newspaper news-paper professionals will explain the significance of good communication at the Annual Meeting of the Utah Girl Scout Council November 12 in Provo. More than 300 Girl Scout, volunteers, including troop leaders as well as other women and men involved with the organization,, which includes Utah and eastern Nevada, are expected expec-ted at the one day session. The 10th anniversary of the formation of the Utah Girl Scout Council will be the theme of the Annual Meeting, according to Mrs John C. Larson of Sail Lake City, president of the Council. The Public Relations Workshop, which starts at . 10:40 a.m. at the Eldred Center, 270 West 500 North, in Provo, will have LaMar Smith, program director di-rector of TV Station KU-TV-2 in Salt Lake City, as moderator. Other members of the communication panel include Mrs. Murray M. Mohler of Ogden, directoi of Public Services at the David O. McKay Hospital; Murray M. Mohler, associate associ-ate editor of the Ogden Standard Examiner; Joseph Jose-ph a Kjar, vice president and general manager of KSL radio, Salt Lake City : Jack Faige, executive vico president of Intermountain Network, Salt Lake City; and Theron Luke, City Editor Edi-tor of the Daily HeralcL Provo. The Fubiic Relation? Workshop is open to the public, Mrs. Lason said, as are the other sessions of the Annual Meeting which starts at 9 a.m. The five council presi- dents who' have served during dur-ing the past decade will be honored along with the hundreds of other volunteers volun-teers who have been registered, reg-istered, active members of the Utah Girl SScouts during dur-ing the same period. |
