Moab s Red Devils, getting sharper and tougher with each game, broke loose in the third quarter to overcome an 8-8 half-time tie, and raced to a 27-8 victory over the Blanding Broncos on the San Juan field last Friday night. Moab's scoring thrust was led by Jay Bohn, who tallied two touchdowns and an extra point; a touchdown by Bill Roedel and another on a quarterback sneak by day, September 29th. Brenda Nicol placed second, and Ross Miller placed third. Joe Serrano received a pass to Moab Swim Center for his poster depicting the bike race to be held in honor of the Jubilee. Brenda and Ross both received free passes to the Swim Center for their posters depicting the foot race and Miss Diamond Jubilee. Randy Nelson, Babette Stewart, Ste-wart, John Shannon, and Brent Richeson received honorable hon-orable mentions in the contest. two, Monticello came in third with seventy points.
