Show Splendid Banquet. On lust Monday evening, there was a Jfofll y crowd gathered at the Maxwell House, Messrs Jjohn J. Lumsden and J. B. Boyer of Grand Junction, Colorado, having eive to Moab to look; up the Court Howae contracts, aud flr. Lumsdeu being a member of the A- F- of A. M. the. local members gave the banquet in honor of the visitoi;ato whom it was a complete surprise, about 30 participate.. parti-cipate.. Tbe supper was the best ever served at Moab. J. N. Corbin w8 toast master, and alt present were called on. to respond Mr. Lumsden renponded to the toast "Our neighbors," and showed how the neighborly feeling between Moab and Grand Junction was shown at tbis time. The visitors left Wednesday mowng for their, home fully satisfied, that while Moab is baud to reach, a visit to it is well worth the effort. |
