Continuing with more good I i -fashioned fun, a shootout will ,' j, i k staged at First Western National Bank at 1:30 p.m. The Diamond Jubilee Parade, featuring Governor Scott Matheson as Grand Marshall, will begin at 2:30, with the parade route going from the high school to the new city park, the new city park. Gannis and races for all ages will be held at the park between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., coordinated by Harold Jacobs. Also, there will be a greased pole climb at the same time and place, sponsored by Moab Jayceettes. An outdoor presentation of "Curse You, Jack Dalton," will be presented at 4:30, either at the new city park or at Lion's Park; and during the melodrama, the governor gover-nor will meet with public officials. As the day begins to wind down, a community barbeque will be held at 5 p.m. at Lion's Park, followed by a Town Meeting at 6:30 with Gov. Matheson . present and County Comm. Chmn. Leo Bun-presiding. Bun-presiding. Completing the day, a public dance will be held beginning at 8 p.m. at Lion's Park. Stock car races and motorcycle races at Red Rock Speedway beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday will complete the Diamond Jubilee week. |
