Below the middle class steer prices declined de-clined a little, because of the Increasing number of cake fed cattle from the south now being put on all the marketa. which latter class answer the eame purpose aa the cheap corn fed steers, and do not coat as much money. The spread between the best and the worst has thua been widened, something that should have happened to the market months ago. Tha run Monday was 8000 head here, only two-thirds as large as on the previous Monday. There are fewer dry weather cattle here than a week ago. but there are more quarantine cattle, but the shortage short-age today le mostly In corn fed cattle. These are selling strong, in fact, all kinds ara atronger. though stockera and feed-era feed-era are considerably lower than a week ago. the derlfrie on those classes In the last ten days amounting to 24 to so cents, most on stock cattle.
