Three Japanese servants in tha apartment apart-ment house ia Weet Eightieth street, where btokea waa shot, ara held aa wit- neaeee. Mias Graham and Miaa Conrad will be arraigned in court later and held to await tha reault of Mr. Btokea' injuries. A further examination will be made to ascertain whether the two bullets still remain ia tha millionaire's ankle and thigh. Demanded $26,000. Terraaee J. McManua, Mr. Stokes' attorney, at-torney, aaya that his client went to the girls' apartment oa receiving a mea-sage mea-sage from Miaa Conrad, to obtain some letters. Stokes denies that he had aver written any letters, and when he reached tha apartment, hia eonnsel says, the door waa locked behind him and "Miaa Graham immediately drew a revolver, re-volver, and pointing to a pad oa a desk at one eide, she aaid: " 'Give ma $25,000 and sign thia agreement.' In court the two womea wer held without bail for examination next Moa day. The three Japaneaa servants were discharged, but will b called as witnesses when requested.
