Show JffiDGE m M PREPARING FOR ; REGULAR PRODUCTION Considersble local interest ii thown in operation at Jarbidir- With the nm opened p la that country it . . looka aa though th camp mi preparing prepar-ing to output a considerable amouai of or. A late arrival from that camp say that tha Pavlak haa all the ear-. ear-. marki of a miaa of aool proportions, and he believe there are several prop ertiea ia the eamp which will be placed ea a paving basis within a short tine. The season is backward this year, and this haa had a tendency to retard prospecting, pros-pecting, but where work ia going on the results are very aatisfactorr. On the Clark Fletcher lease on the North Star ground two shifts have beea working work-ing all winter. The vein is opened on two rerels to a depth of ISO feet and is eight to twelve feet wide. The value of the ore ia estimated at 17 per ton, corresponding to 300,000 of ore blocked out. There are many places where the vein ia rich. A sixty-ton mill is now on the way to the mine and " " wi!T te erected as rapidly" possible. The True Fissure Gold Mining company com-pany also haa good or in ita mine oa Jumbo peak, and is vow building a road to the millsit at tha foot of the falls oa Fall creek. This is aa ideal site for a mill, with good waterpower near; it is two miles from the mine. The mine is oa the main erater vein, aad tha surface of its third peak claim ' makes a good showing. The development develop-ment work this winter has shown the regularity of the vein, and has opened up a larg or body. The adit is bow ia ISO fect, and shows good or all the wa. Tha width of the vein at the mouth of the adit is two feet, and at the face it ia four and one half feet wide. The value of the or has also . shown a steadv increase from $12 at h Month n lk -A , ... A AO nm at th face. The depth at th far is about ninety feet, which given a good back of ore to stone from. The Pavlak mill is making good progress, prog-ress, hut as it is a larg on it is probable prob-able that both of th preceding mills will b la operation before this la finished fin-ished 1 he crosscut from the first drift lo the north from th adit is in a large . body of quarts. Tha conditions along the Pavlak veia can be said to be . very promising. Theodore Parks haa purchased an interest ia th leas on thr North Star vein with George A. Fifther and kas found a good body of high grade milling ore. This ore is changing somewhat and now resemble thst in th Bouraa vein, where I 'lark and Fletcher hav a large or bod v. On the opposite aide of Bourn gulch Lig Fletcher ia opening another vein oa th Reliance claim of th North Star company, R. ft. ejilver is associated with hint in this new leas, which is on a parallel vein about 3iH) feet east of tha North Btar vein. They bar traced the vein for a distance of several hundred hun-dred feet, la on place where they pro poa to start development work, thev have stripped the vein, which i eight to twelve feet wide. Another new find . made at some distance from any previous pre-vious oa tend to prove th extent of tha mineralized area. This was made br A. . Bottles, aear th head of Bear creek on th Mohawk claims, aad from th little work so far don it promises to be a vary important find. Samples from along th veia give assays of $4 to $1(1 a ton and an averag sample of five feet of th vein from oa of their prospect holes gave returns of 17.20 a ton. This property ia over three miles southwest of th towa and oa tha wat side of th Jarbidga river. This well greatly stimulate activity o th west sid aad along th Bear creek section. The Jsrbinge Nevada company ia already al-ready wnrking aear th moath of Bear creek, the Ham-Aad company ts opening open-ing a vein oa Bear creek ridg on half mile south of Jarbidg. Som good float has beea found on th Overalls group, another mile south, aad now the Mohawk find, still farther south, and all oa th west side, is promising for this portio of the camp, The Mohawk claims are just west of the V'osemite claims, and join oa the south tha Big Four group, which be longs to. th Buhl Jarbidg company. Tha nw wagon road from Deeth crosses th ground just before reaching the Bear creek summit. The claims are well covered with timber, but are near the head of th water aupply. Forty mil ar at work on th new road from Deeth; it is all built with a twelve-foot twelve-foot roadbed. Tha pole ar beiag set for a telephone line into Jarbidga and .iv win am iinisaeo: a aooa as possible. A sooa as th lin is opea a bank will b eetabllthed ia Jarbidge. KEYADAB IN SAN FKAJf CISCO.
