Show ent has been applied for the Little Gem mine. "The company owns in addition to these, sixteen other full claims, containing con-taining 320 acres, in a second group, all of which are situated in the Bullion Bul-lion mining district, Lander county, Nevada, twenty miles south of Beo-wawe, Beo-wawe, a station on the Southern Pacific Paci-fic railroad, 276 miles west of Ogden. "The old Cortez mine in the Bullion district has been a noted producer of nKn-grle silver ore, and together with the Silver Side and the Gray Eagle are producing ore at the present time. Recently gold and copper ore have been discovered in the southeastern portion of the district and some promising properties prop-erties are being developed. "The towns of Tenabo and Lander have been laid out near the locations of the properties of the Reliance Mining and Milling company. The Little Gem mine is the property which the Reliance Mining and Milling companv is developing devel-oping to the greatest extent.' It is situated sit-uated about a mile from the town of Tenabo. on the eastern stape of a hill, I which separates the old Bullion mines from the gold and copper-bearing district. dis-trict. Smeller returns from the American Ameri-can Smelting and Refining company show a high percentage of copper. CHANGES ABE MADE. Stockholders of the Reliance Mining and Milling company met yesterday afternoon, af-ternoon, and brought about several important im-portant changes. The directory was increased in-creased from five to seven members: the capitalization increased from 1,000.000 to U250.000 shares, and the par value of eaeh increased from 25 cents to $1. New directors were chosen as follows: Judge L. O. Kav, Zeb Kendall. C. H. D&TZ, J- C. Tyre of Nevada and BrHn TyTee,tH. C. Edwards and C. C. TVVs) of this Mty. J. 8. Wylie, super-infendent, super-infendent, and E. P. Jennings, engineer, attending the meeting.
